Before you meet the team that made this possible (my family), I want you to meet me:

I am María Camacho, CEO and founder of Shinko.

I am 25 years old, I trained in marketing and advertising.

And I'm sure you're wondering what makes me put all this together if it has nothing to do with it.

You see, I grew up among shampoos, hairsprays and dyes.

And I knew that if I entered this world it was to do something different, to do something real. With personality. That would give the professional something unique.

After all these years learning about the needs of hairdressing professionals, I have realized that it is time to take action and return each professional to the prestigious place they deserve.

That's why I created Shinko, with the aim of bringing quality tools to every professional at an affordable price, allowing them to bring out their full potential in every cut.

A product they can identify with, from a brand that understands them.

I want to help, train and accompany each professional in their daily work.

Shinko is not just scissors, it is a way of understanding hairdressing. It is more than a brand.

It is craftsmanship, professionalism and respect for a profession that I love, that has fed me all my life and that it is time to start caring for and valuing as it deserves.

So, now I introduce you to the people who have made my dream of creating all this and doing something different a reality:
My mother, my father and my brother.

The artist

Nothing better to create something unique than an artist.
My mother, at barely 20 years old, had already been an apprentice in some of the best and most exclusive salons in Madrid.

Later it would even have its own centre.

He has also been a technician for major brands in the sector.

If I could be like someone I would choose to be like her.

Their experience and artistry in the salon have helped us bring the design and practicality of the scissors to the level we want to offer.

She is in charge of testing each pair of scissors.

I assure you that I have never met a more meticulous, picky and stubborn professional than her. So everything is more than measured.

If mom approves then we go ahead.

The brain

Born entrepreneur, with more than 25 years of experience in the hairdressing sector.

If I've ridden this thing it's because of him. I learned what it was like to be independent before I learned how to ride a bike.

My father has been part of the largest sales teams in the industry, even founding his own companies.

She had her own comprehensive hairdressing business, then she was an independent salesperson, where she learned everything necessary to set up her own product distribution and trading company, where she was in charge of a team of more than 20 people.

Every time I talk to him about hairdressing, it's like talking to Siri, he's an encyclopedia. And you have no idea how much he's helped me with every detail of Shinko. That's why he's the brain.

We have applied our years of experience to our scissors to offer something unique that has not been seen before.

Youth, motivation and avant-garde.

My brother is passionate about the digital world, sales and communication.

I think it all comes from our father's entrepreneurial gene.

At just 19 years old, he started selling his first professional scissors door to door in every hair salon in Madrid.

And thanks to that, today he knows perfectly well what each professional looks for in their scissors.

He is in charge of expanding Shinko and taking it where it deserves: Your hands.
